[W]eapons:
Main: Two Nail Guns & Laser-filled Nails
_{-Nails are used as ammo for the gun, they resemble regular nuts & bolts, but their centers contain either a red or blue laser chamber.
-The nail gun will automatically begin a mandatory cool down if the gun overheats and it will shut down while the light on the side of the weapon changes from red/blue to yellow.
-The nail gun functions by using electromagnetism. In the body of the gun is placed a large magnet, positive or negative to match the nails placed inside. Positive = Red, Negative = Blue
-Both of the nail guns are cooled down at the same temperature, and can use either the red or blue nails as ammo depending on which magnet is placed in the gun.
-Nails are broken up into two categories blue and red or defensive and offensive.
-The red nails are explosives and her personal favorites. They explode on impact, and are able to be used for 15-20 minutes at max. They are the hottest lasers and require the longest cool time for about 30 minutes. The red nails are often used for offense.
-The blue nails are freezers. It Freezes the target on impact and can be used up to 60 minutes. Freeze time last up to 30 minutes. Shortest cool time only needs about a minute. The blue nails are often used during defense.
-She’s still prototyping new forms of nail lasers.
-Velvet can only wield one gun at a time.}

[C]ircus Talent:
_{-Technical support: She's a behind the scenes stagehand who often grabs those unreachable items on the top shelf, makes repairs around the circus territory, and helps manage the special effects and lights backstage. Velvet’s most helpful when it comes to electrical management.
-FIREWORKS: The one thing you'll see her get excited about. She likes to hand them out to the kids in line and light some up after shows depending if it’s dark enough outside.}

Strengths:
_{+She has exceptional aim, a very talented long ranger fighter who can hit targets from miles away.
+Velvet’s very experienced with various types of firearms, and can use a variety of them. But her specialty is working with small handguns. This makes improvisation easier for her.
+After years of tinkering with machinery her arms have buffed up from her field of work and can pack quite a punch.
+Having built weaponry for her lifetime, she can create inventions at the blink of an eye, if ever in a tight spot.
+Because of her long legs, she has quite the advantage when it comes to running. However she cannot run long distances, her legs are weak and tire out quickly.}

Weaknesses:
_{-A talented LONG RANGE fighter, and is pretty clumsy with hand-to-hand combat, but she'll use her wrench to whack someone over the head if necessary.
-Will sometimes stick around to watch the show after seeing something blow up, no matter how catastrophic. It’s like she gets stuck in some type of trance.
-If she uses her own inventions, expect some blunder. She usually forgets small-rather-important details: not adding a start button, using multi-colored wires, ALWAYS adding a self-destruct button, etc.
-Velvet's pretty weak physically, having worked in a factory all her life 24/7 doesn't leave much time for exercise. She lacks core and lower-body strength and is pretty much as strong as her weapon.
-Also suffers from slight hearing loss in her right ear, and that can sometimes miss orders or misunderstand them. This’ll only happen if she loses her hearing aid somehow.}

[S]pecial Skills:
_{-bomb sniffer: Velvet naturally has a sensitive nose. Having grown up in a war-driven environment especially around weapons, she has a -lame- ability to smell a variety of explosive chemicals from about 50 miles away maximum. However she has no way of determining the exact location of the explosives unless she's rather close. Also has no way of sniffing out nuclear or electrical explosives, Velvet's limited to only chemical.}

-lashing out at others, usually those who are innocent

-mumbling to herself
-threatening to burn or blow up things she dislikes
-Because of her readiness to work, she often gets used by others and ends up doing their work for them

[P]ersonality:
_{Shy: Velvet can come off as really quiet or soft-spoken at first, but that’s just her nerves getting to her. She’s just unbearably shy when it first comes to meeting people, she’ll usually just observe the person for a while before speaking up. She also has quite the height complex, automatically looking down if someone wishes to speak to her.
Grouchy: Once you’ve crack through her shell, Velvet is revealed to be pretty sassy and shrewd almost snarky in a sense. She’s quite the fan of sarcasm and is pretty quick to see the faults in others. She’s also got quite the competitive bone.
Klutz: However, this does not mean Velvet is uppity, she’s very aware of her flaws. Calling her a klutz would be an understatement and she has a pretty forgetful nature, so don’t be offended if she doesn’t remember you after your first meeting.
Workaholic: Having grown up her in demanding work in environment has made her into quite the busybody, the all work no play type. If you give her an assignment she’ll complete it with diligence, and often takes on many odd jobs and challenges. Probably too many, because she gets stressed out easily, but she can keep her nerves locked up for a while. However the results are catastrophic when she finally cracks.
Resourceful: Velvet’s intelligence is rather sharp, so she can often find solutions at the crack of a whip. But if she has a lot of stuff on her mind, her judgment becomes cloudy.}

[A]dditional Info:

Backstory:

<sub>Velvet grew up in the very military driven state, whose main focus was manufacturing and creating new weapons for the mother country. Its structure is similar to an anthill, except people are broken up into different engineering fields at a young age. Velvet herself is the daughter of a mechanical engineer and a skilled chemical engineer. She was born into a very young couple, but was raised by her father. Her mother was sent to work at an experimental new plant that had recently opened, and was renamed a nuclear engineer at a nuclear plant. However, a fatal casualty occurred before Velvet was even two years old, and her mother along with many others died working at the plant. But the memory of her mom was not lost, many photos were kept in their small house, and a heart locket, her mother always wore, survived the explosion. But because of the accident, the jewelry is very frail and melted together, so the locket cannot be opened.

When it came time to sorting, Velvet was pulled out of her class earlier than the other kids because she was larger for her age. She was chosen to become an electrical engineer and was signed up to work at a new weaponry factory. Once she was assigned her first job, she received the sixty on her shoulder. Afterwards she became accustom to working the long days and nights at the artillery plant; she worked there for almost ten years and hated every minute of it. She was moved to an aviation factory at age 16. Once she as reassigned at job she met a small blonde pigtailed girl, who was recently sorted, an electrical engineer as well. Velvet took the young girl under her wing and adopted her as a little sister.

News of a traveling circus spread around the factory and many children snuck out during the night shift to see the sight, since not many festivities came by. The young girl pressured Velvet into taking her to see the ominous Clockwork Circus . Velvet was obviously aware of the consequences that followed skipping out on work, but she herself had never actually gone to a circus before. Curious, they both went to see the spectacle. After the show ended Velvet walked outside with the girl, who had a balloon in hand, as a crowd gathered outside.
“See? Wasn’t it worth it?!”
“I don’t know if you’ll be saying that tomorrow…”
“Psh, you worry t- AH!”
That was the last time Velvet saw her and her blonde pigtails, but she didn’t die… hopefully. She went chasing after her balloon and they simply got separated in the crowd. But as Velvet ran around searching for her she overheard some performers speaking about some important government information, another nuclear plant opening. Curious as to the actual motives of the circus, Velvet decided to sneak away with the circus and hid around the animal’s captivity. She stayed there until they left her town, and applied for a field in mechatronics.</sub>

-She's fascinated with fire, borderline... well she is a pyromaniac.
-Has never dated anyone, and is rather inexperienced in the romance department. Plus her ideas about love are pretty outdated.
-She ALWAYS stuffs her mother’s locket in one of her pockets, but for formal events she’ll wear the half-melted jewelry.
-Calls anyone ‘Chica’ when annoyed/angered/stressed, despite your gender.
-A hopeless lightweight who can't hold any of her alcohol.
-The most feminine thing about her would probably be her undying love of footwear. Despite the attraction she often strays away from the coveted heels for obvious reasons...
-Her hearing got messed up in her right ear from working with loud machines in factories.
-Velvet's tone deaf.
